BEGINNINGS
Beginnings is a ten-week psycho educational group for sex addicts and their partners. It introduces participants to the addiction model and how that applies to those affected by sexual compulsive behaviors.
The goals of Beginnings are to
(a) identify and address self-defeating behaviors,
(b) learn healthier coping skills,
(c) establish a support system, and
(d) recognize the influence family of origin has in shaping and defining core beliefs held by addicts and their partners and when those messages go awry leading to cognitive distortions.
It is both a process oriented and educational based format designed to meet the unique needs of addicts and partners of sex addicts alike.
Our next BEGINNINGS class starts on Monday, 4/15/24 and runs each Monday from 6:30-9:15pm until 6/24/24
